How do you get rid of Oxalis?

I have loads of this nasty weed in my yard which seems to be bulletproof. There are bulbs as well as the long roots, I have sprayed with roundup which cleared all the top growth but didn't seem to wipe out the bulbs. Must i physically dig & sift the bulbs out or is there an easier way?
