Cannot destroy the hind in the last mission in black ops??? please help me!?

am in the last mission of black ops where supposed 2 sabotage the ship which sends the signals.but the hind which comes up after sometime is almost like bulletproof!!.i fired directly at the helicopter yet it does not take any damage!!! someone plzzz help me! :)
